Academy history and brand background

The official site states that the global brand has operated since 1981. The Korean campus is operated by a separate company; distinguish global brand history from the Korean branch's operating history.

Distinguish the brand’s beginnings, company establishment, Korean academy registration and individual campus opening dates. Consider current lesson samples alongside operating history when assessing teaching fit.

Director, leadership and faculty

Checking subject-specific faculty

The official 2026 SAT page lists Tony Kim (SAT Reading), Claire Jeon (SAT Math), Chulho Gahng (SAT Math), Daniel Lee (SAT Writing) and Taylor Kim (SAT Reading) as lead faculty. Reconfirm the actual teacher for a particular exam-preparation class in opening notices.

The company representative, academy director and actual class teacher may hold different roles. When discussing education or research-program experience, request the institution, role, participation year and supporting material, and confirm who will teach the enrolled class.

SAT learning approach

The official SAT page connects lessons, error analysis and learning management, with fall 2026 weekend intensives and final exam-preparation courses. The site identifies cumulative enrollment and average score-gain figures as its own calculations; ask about the period, sample and starting-score criteria behind them.

Three things to look for in a sample lesson

• Reading & Writing: Does the teacher explain direct answer evidence and errors of scope, causation or logic in the distractors?
• Math: Are the meaning of equations, domains, units and conditions checked, with alternative solutions compared?
• Assessment: Are official Bluebook practice and internally written questions distinguished, with reassessment of specific weaknesses?

AP subjects and school coursework

The official site offers AP guidance and subject content such as AP Calculus/Biology alongside its SAT preparation brand. Public AP guides regularly update subject-selection and exam-strategy content; actual 2027 subjects, teachers and schedules require separate seasonal confirmation.

Subject names reflect the scope listed in existing materials. Confirm actual 2027 openings, instructors and class limits.

ACT, AP and U.S. college-admissions programs.

Considering IB or GPA support

Bring the exact subject, level, exam year and school syllabus to an IB/GPA consultation. Broad program descriptions do not confirm that a specific subject is currently available.

• IB: Check experience with the relevant HL/SL, AA/AI, school assignments and assessment format.
• GPA: Check how school textbooks, rubrics and exam dates connect with the academy’s progress.
• Assignments: Agree on support that helps students produce their own work and explain their own analysis.

Questions before enrollment

Confirm Reading & Writing/Math instructors for the target exam-date class, class limits, material/mock-test update frequency and whether published statistics include that class's sample.

Do not assume that consultation terms apply to another class or campus with the same academy name. Compare the teacher, location and total teaching hours recorded in the actual timetable and contract.
