Education-office registration

Academy history and brand background

The supplied reference materials describe a brand history beginning in Boston in 2000. The brand's beginnings should be distinguished from the establishment and operating registration dates of its Korean academy.

Distinguish the brand’s beginnings, company establishment, Korean academy registration and individual campus opening dates. Consider current lesson samples alongside operating history when assessing teaching fit.

Director, leadership and faculty

Checking subject-specific faculty

Public program and recruitment materials describe subject-specific teaching roles in SAT Reading & Writing, SAT Math, AP Calculus/Sciences, Social Studies and School Mathematics. Teachers assigned to 2027 classes may change before opening; confirm the timetable and assigned instructor immediately before enrollment.

The company representative, academy director and actual class teacher may hold different roles. When discussing education or research-program experience, request the institution, role, participation year and supporting material, and confirm who will teach the enrolled class.

SSAT classes

Operator-provided · SSAT classes reported · 2026-09-11

STARPREP offers SSAT Middle Level / Upper Level classes covering Verbal / Quantitative / Reading / Writing.

Vocabulary and verbal reasoning, mathematics, reading and writing are taught at the relevant test level. The course scope was supplied by the academy operator.

SAT learning approach

Digital SAT Reading & Writing and Math are taught separately by level, with vacation intensives, term-time/weekend classes and live online options. Published materials describe a recurring cycle of mock tests, vocabulary and homework, error reports, explanations and review. Ask how actual lessons and practice tests use Module 1 results, adaptive Module 2 difficulty paths and analysis of weaknesses by skill.

Three things to look for in a sample lesson

• Reading & Writing: Does the teacher explain direct answer evidence and errors of scope, causation or logic in the distractors?
• Math: Are the meaning of equations, domains, units and conditions checked, with alternative solutions compared?
• Assessment: Are official Bluebook practice and internally written questions distinguished, with reassessment of specific weaknesses?

AP subjects and school coursework

The public 2026–27 program covers AP Calculus AB/BC, Precalculus, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics 1/2/C, Psychology, U.S./World History, English Language/Literature and Micro/Macroeconomics. Its annual structure links term-time preparation and GPA support with comprehensive review in January–February and AP exam practice in March–May; one-to-one lessons are also offered. Public 2026 materials describe in-person, Zoom and English-medium classes.

Subject names reflect the scope listed in existing materials. Confirm actual 2027 openings, instructors and class limits.

SSAT Middle Level / Upper Level: Verbal / Quantitative / Reading / Writing. AP, ACT, GPA/School Courses, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities/Social Studies and U.S. college preparation.

Considering IB or GPA support

The supplied index lists IB support. Actual HL/SL subjects, teaching scope and assigned instructors require separate confirmation.

• IB: Check experience with the relevant HL/SL, AA/AI, school assignments and assessment format.
• GPA: Check how school textbooks, rubrics and exam dates connect with the academy’s progress.
• Assignments: Agree on support that helps students produce their own work and explain their own analysis.

Questions before enrollment

Confirm the actual SAT Reading & Writing and Math instructors, class limits, mock-test schedule for the target exam date, adaptive Module 2 analysis, homework and error-review frequency, online make-up/recording options, and 2027 tuition and refund terms.

Do not assume that consultation terms apply to another class or campus with the same academy name. Compare the teacher, location and total teaching hours recorded in the actual timetable and contract.
