BRIX Academy

Academy and class overview

An institution linking Apgujeong in Seoul with Bellevue in the United States for SAT, AP and live online classes.

The details below summarize public and supplied materials. Official pages were checked for Apgujeong BRIX, fall/summer 2026 intensives, SAT information and faculty menus. Confirm opening details and teachers through seasonal notices.

Education-office registration

Academy history and brand background

The official site lists both Seoul Apgujeong and U.S. Bellevue campuses.

Distinguish the brand’s beginnings, company establishment, Korean academy registration and individual campus opening dates. Consider current lesson samples alongside operating history when assessing teaching fit.

Director, leadership and faculty

Checking subject-specific faculty

The official TEACHERS page provides detailed AP/STEM teaching backgrounds in Math/Physics and Biology/Chemistry. Dedicated SAT Reading & Writing/Math assignments require separate confirmation from the 2027 seasonal timetable.

The company representative, academy director and actual class teacher may hold different roles. When discussing education or research-program experience, request the institution, role, participation year and supporting material, and confirm who will teach the enrolled class.

SAT learning approach

The official summer 2026 program separates Digital SAT Fundamental, Advanced and Math. It describes live Zoom classes for students in U.S. time zones, instructor monitoring, recorded review and digital notes/problem solving. Confirm each season whether the Seoul in-person and online classes share the same teachers and curriculum.

Three things to look for in a sample lesson

• Reading & Writing: Does the teacher explain direct answer evidence and errors of scope, causation or logic in the distractors?
• Math: Are the meaning of equations, domains, units and conditions checked, with alternative solutions compared?
• Assessment: Are official Bluebook practice and internally written questions distinguished, with reassessment of specific weaknesses?

AP subjects and school coursework

Public materials mention AP programs or subjects. Actual 2027 subjects, assigned teachers, group/one-to-one formats and preparation for fully digital or hybrid Bluebook exams have not all been confirmed; check the institution's latest timetable and syllabus before enrollment.

Subject names reflect the scope listed in existing materials. Confirm actual 2027 openings, instructors and class limits.

AP Language, ACT, college-admissions consulting and related support.

Considering IB or GPA support

Bring the exact subject, level, exam year and school syllabus to an IB/GPA consultation. Broad program descriptions do not confirm that a specific subject is currently available.

• IB: Check experience with the relevant HL/SL, AA/AI, school assignments and assessment format.
• GPA: Check how school textbooks, rubrics and exam dates connect with the academy’s progress.
• Assignments: Agree on support that helps students produce their own work and explain their own analysis.

Questions before enrollment

Confirm 2027 Zoom times, recording-access periods, assigned teachers, and whether Korean in-person and online classes use the same curriculum.

Do not assume that consultation terms apply to another class or campus with the same academy name. Compare the teacher, location and total teaching hours recorded in the actual timetable and contract.
