Elite Prep Korea

Academy and class overview

Korean branches of a global test-preparation and international-school education network that states it was founded in 1987. Multiple Korean campuses are published on the official site.

The details below summarize public and supplied materials. Confirm current operation, address, teachers and available classes directly with the institution.

Education-office registration

Academy history and brand background

The official site highlights a 1987 founding date and lists a global network including the United States, Canada and China, along with six Korean locations.

Distinguish the brand’s beginnings, company establishment, Korean academy registration and individual campus opening dates. Consider current lesson samples alongside operating history when assessing teaching fit.

Director, leadership and faculty

Checking subject-specific faculty

The official faculty page publishes profiles including lead Math instructors Jaewon and Jinho, and AP Economics instructor Soo.

The company representative, academy director and actual class teacher may hold different roles. When discussing education or research-program experience, request the institution, role, participation year and supporting material, and confirm who will teach the enrolled class.

SSAT classes

Existing materials · SSAT reconfirmation needed

The supplied original lists SSAT among Elite's Apgujeong programs. Current official SSAT classes require reconfirmation.

An existing candidate to contact about both SSAT and international-school coursework.

SAT learning approach

Branch-based SAT, international-school and U.S. college-admissions programs. Its global-network curriculum and choice of campuses are distinguishing features.

Three things to look for in a sample lesson

• Reading & Writing: Does the teacher explain direct answer evidence and errors of scope, causation or logic in the distractors?
• Math: Are the meaning of equations, domains, units and conditions checked, with alternative solutions compared?
• Assessment: Are official Bluebook practice and internally written questions distinguished, with reassessment of specific weaknesses?

AP subjects and school coursework

The official AP page lists English Language/Literature, Micro/Macroeconomics, U.S./World/European History, Art History, Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, CSP/CSA, Precalculus, Biology, Chemistry and Physics 1/2/C. It describes connecting school-specific GPA progress, core concepts, MCQ/FRQ practice and full mock exams.

Subject names reflect the scope listed in existing materials. Confirm actual 2027 openings, instructors and class limits.

AP, IB, boarding-school preparation, U.S. college admissions, and middle-school/international-school courses.

Considering IB or GPA support

Bring the exact subject, level, exam year and school syllabus to an IB/GPA consultation. Broad program descriptions do not confirm that a specific subject is currently available.

• IB: Check experience with the relevant HL/SL, AA/AI, school assignments and assessment format.
• GPA: Check how school textbooks, rubrics and exam dates connect with the academy’s progress.
• Assignments: Agree on support that helps students produce their own work and explain their own analysis.

Questions before enrollment

Confirm SAT availability at the selected branch, differences in teachers/curriculum between branches, online coverage and class limits.

Do not assume that consultation terms apply to another class or campus with the same academy name. Compare the teacher, location and total teaching hours recorded in the actual timetable and contract.
