Academy history and brand background
Public comparison materials describe an eight-week vacation program as a representative structure. Detailed founding history is limited publicly.
Distinguish the brand’s beginnings, company establishment, Korean academy registration and individual campus opening dates. Consider current lesson samples alongside operating history when assessing teaching fit.
Director, leadership and faculty
People and roles named in the materials
Company: I Holdings Co., Ltd. A privacy page names Yu Hui-jeong as the responsible officer; this is not treated as confirmation of the academy director's role.
Checking subject-specific faculty
The complete current SAT faculty roster could not be established from official/public materials. Confirm assigned teachers when enrolling.
The company representative, academy director and actual class teacher may hold different roles. When discussing education or research-program experience, request the institution, role, participation year and supporting material, and confirm who will teach the enrolled class.
SAT learning approach
Publicly described as focusing on vacation-intensive SAT preparation and overseas university admissions consultation.
Three things to look for in a sample lesson
- Reading & Writing: Does the teacher explain direct answer evidence and errors of scope, causation or logic in the distractors?
- Math: Are the meaning of equations, domains, units and conditions checked, with alternative solutions compared?
- Assessment: Are official Bluebook practice and internally written questions distinguished, with reassessment of specific weaknesses?
AP subjects and school coursework
Confirm availability of individual AP subjects directly with the academy.
Subject names reflect the scope listed in existing materials. Confirm actual 2027 openings, instructors and class limits.
Check ACT/TOEFL and other overseas-university preparation programs by season.
AP subject guidesConsidering IB or GPA support
Bring the exact subject, level, exam year and school syllabus to an IB/GPA consultation. Broad program descriptions do not confirm that a specific subject is currently available.
- IB: Check experience with the relevant HL/SL, AA/AI, school assignments and assessment format.
- GPA: Check how school textbooks, rubrics and exam dates connect with the academy’s progress.
- Assignments: Agree on support that helps students produce their own work and explain their own analysis.
Questions before enrollment
Confirm total teaching hours for the 2027 vacation course, Reading & Writing/Math instructors, mock-test frequency and absence make-up policy.
Tuition
Current tuition unconfirmed · Ask about total teaching hours and additional charges
Do not assume that consultation terms apply to another class or campus with the same academy name. Compare the teacher, location and total teaching hours recorded in the actual timetable and contract.
